Working in a primary school across the curriculum to support the teacher as a teaching assistant. AM you will be working in the classroom supporting teachers with literacy, numeracy and other academic based subjects followed by PM work supporting the delivery of PE lessons.
Progress to become a qualified teaching assistant or higher level teaching assistant. Progress to a teaching qualification.
Employment with CNS as a Physical Education Co-ordinator or Sports Coach.
Experience to support an application to university for a teaching qualification.
Successful applicants should be aware that that they will be required to work 2 evenings per week (7pm finish) and work Saturday mornings (9-11.30am). Start times will vary from 8am to 11.30am depending on the day and week of term.
Paperwork tasks, organisation and social media promotions will be expected as part of the role.
Successful applicants will be required to have a clear DBS certificate.
Travel may be provided depending on individual circumstances.
