Westoak Hanoverian Stud is based near Haltwhistle, Northumberland, where we breed and sell dressage and eventing foals. We show our youngsters in hand and under saddle, at county shows and at the Futurity. We use AI on our Hanoverian and warmblood mares. Our team is very experienced with foaling and handling foals. Our apprentices have the opportunity to complete with our horses. We do not keep stallions. This business is owned by TM Simmons & Co Ltd.

Important Other Information

Working outside in all weathers is an expectation of the job The horses require to be looked after all year round. You will need to study and work on a computer to complete your portfolio of evidence and for exams. You will be expected to keep a dairy and meet deadlines. We muck out every day. Sometimes you may need to come into work early or leave late when there is an emergency. Particularly during the foaling and covering seasons. We also have farm animals on site.
