Due to nature of the Hospice at Home service, this role is often a lone worker, working with patients and families at particularly difficult times. As such this role will be supporting patients with a life limiting condition and will be exposed to death, dying and bereavement.
It is therefore imperative that the applicant understands that they may be faced with emotional and distressing circumstances and can recognise and act on own stress triggers.
Essential criteria - due to the nature of the role working within the community, applicants must have a valid driving licence and access to personal vehicle. Public transport does not equate to access to personal vehicle.
