We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant apprentices who will develop skills in providing support for the teacher, for pupils with SEND and for the whole academy. The post is classroom based.
- Awareness of Autism and learning needs, which will be relevant for the post
- Confident in ability to interact with individuals and groups of children with a range of special needs including ASD and complex learning needs
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Recognise that you may be faced with physically challenging behaviours at times and have the ability to deal with this positively, confidently and to identify any support you may require
- Reliable & punctual
- Friendly & polite
GSCE Maths & English at 9-4 or A*- C or equivalent
Possibility of full time employment in an academy within the Trust.
