Northern Counties School is approved by the Department for Education to provide all age (3-19 years) special for children who have a hearing impairment or visual impairment, those with profound and multiple learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder all of whom require education, therapy and care within a specialist communication environment.

The salary of this post is pro rata therefore successful candidates will work 39 weeks per year and be paid over the 45 weeks per year in order to include holiday payment This post is to work with children who have disabilities and special educational needs therefore the successful candidate will need be able to demonstrate a calm, caring and patient manner
