Brushcutters and trimmers are popular tools across the agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and grounds maintenance industries. They save time and work efficiently in tricky terrains and situations but they also have the potential to be one of the most dangerous machines in common use.
Our course will help novice users recognise and reduce those dangers. You'll learn how to optimise performance and carry out routine maintenance.
You will also gain understanding all the relevant regulation and safety requirements is key. You'll be taught the need for the correct protective clothing and how best to maintain a safe working environment.
A certificate of competence will be awarded once you complete the course.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment will be an integrated part of the course.
This course will take place between 9am and 5pm. Days are dependent on booking availability.
This course is integrate training with assessment. A one day refresher course for experienced operators is also available.

On completion of this course, you will be accredited in the safe use of brushcutters and trimmers and will be able to work professionally in land-based services,such as gardening.
