This qualification will enable you to prove your expertise in using a pole pruner.
It will also provide firm evidence of your ability to meet licence-to-practise standards.
Quality Assurance policies are in place to ensure that all assessments meet the independent assessment requirements for this sector.
You could be starting a new role. Or you might already be using your chainsaw skills across a range of relevant operations.
Whatever your professional circumstances, our course will boost your confidence and help you meet the current standards of good working practice.
Worth noting: Our course involves some physical sessions, so it's essential that you have at least a minimum level of fitness.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment. Certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.
This course will take place between 9AM and 5PM. Days are dependent on booking availability.
This qualification will allow you to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- Being able to work safely
- Being able to use a powered pole pruner
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice
- Knowledge of how to use a powered pole pruner
Lantra
You will be certified in safely using a power pruner. Following this course, you could continue studying by choosing one of our other land-based courses.
