Your progress will be assessed by observations of your practical skills and will take place within the college workshops. Each unit of the qualification requires you to pass a multiple-choice online assessment test.

Achieving a grade 4 (A-C) or above in GCSE Maths and English is crucial for your future success, opening doors to further education, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities. These core subjects are the foundation of many careers, and most employers and colleges require them. If you didn't achieve the grades you need, don't worry our college offers dedicated GCSE Maths and English courses designed to help you succeed. With our expert tutors and supportive learning environment, you'll have the tools you need to improve your grades and unlock your full potential.

This course is for those that are interested in working on light vehicles and gaining a qualification that could lead to an apprenticeship. This is a level two certificate course. however, students have the opportunity to upgrade to a diploma course which involves two more online exams above the minimum of the two to qualify for certificate level.
