This Public Services course develops the skills learnt during the Level 2 Diploma and has been designed to be a hands-on vocational programme. The military academy is the perfect choice for learners that aspire to join the military or wish to undertake a course that is both physically and mentally demanding.
Yes, you will need to have four GCSEs including, English and or maths and preferably two sciences and one other all at grade C or above, or a level 2 qualification in a related subject.

There will be a variety of assessment methods including physical fitness, psychometric tests, individual and group presentations, discussions, portfolio building and simulated role play.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
The aim of the course is to give you the skills required to be able to apply to join a range of roles within the armed forces.
Yiu will study a range of modules including: Preparing for a career in a chosen uniformed service, Developing aspects of physical fitness for entry to the uniformed services, Developing leadership skills and Equality, diversity and inclusion
You can progress to the HNC in Policing or join the armed forces.
