It covers pre-use checks, maintenance, instrument and control recognition, safe driving of sit-in and sit-astride All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), as well as maneuvering the vehicle on rough terrain/slopes. There is aslo an option to cover the use of a trailer or trailed attachment.
The minimum age limit for candidates taking this qualification is 16 years. This does not replace any legal requirement for a driving license.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment will be an integrated part of the course.

This is a short course – 1 day of training plus integrated assessment.
This course will take place between 9am-5pm. Days dependent on booking availability.
This qualification will appeal to those who use a sit-in or sit-astride ATV. You may be working in agriculture, grounds maintenance, outdoor events, or use the ATV for recreational use.
The minimum age limit for candidates taking this qualification is 16 years. This does not replace any legal requirement for a driving licence.

You will be equipped with the knowledge and skill to safely operate an ATV, either as part of your day to day professional work or as a hobby.
Following the completion of this course, you could progress to study one of our other land-based courses.
