Candidates would be expected to have at least 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, ideally including Maths, English and Science.
Alternatively, a suitable Level 2 vocational qualification at Merit or above and Maths and English at Level 2.

The practical elements cover about 40% of the course and the theoretical elements about 60%.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
This study programme offers a comprehensive introduction to a professional career in horticulture. Students will have the opportunities to study a wide range of horticultural topics including garden design, plant identification and lawn care.
