Do you operate and carry out tasks dealing with individual windblown trees as part of your work? Do you work in arboriculture, forestry, or other land-based industries?
This course will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to carry out this work safely and efficiently.
To enrol on this course, you must have the following qualifications:
- Certificate of Competence in Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting
- Certificate of Competence in Felling and Processing small Trees up to 380mm

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment. Certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.
This is a short course that will be taught across 2 days, with an additional 1 day of assessment. It will take place between 9am-4pm. Days dependent on booking availability.
On completion of thous course, you will have gained the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently deal with windblown trees as part of your job role.
You may also enrol on one of our other selection of rural skills courses in order to develop your career in the land-based industires, such as the use of chainsaws, aerial rigging, or felling trees in a range of sizes.
