A great CV that is well presented and clear will give a good first impression. Use positive language and check all grammar, spelling and punctuation carefully.
lots of jobs come through referrals, it's often about who you know. Your parents, their friends, teachers can be a great resource of job opportunities.
Don't turn a job down just because you don't think it's your perfect job. It may lead to the job you really want!
You need to be proactive. Find your ideal job by dressing smart and visiting companies that you would like to work for. Leave them a copy of your CV.
Do something that shows you are gaining experience so you can demonstrate to potential employers that you are being productive in your spare time.
If an employer asks you back for an interview, make sure you make yourself available.
