If you do not already have a full Level 3 qualification and are 19 to 23 years old, your Access to HE course will be free.
When you graduate, your Advanced Learner Loan for your
Access to HE course will be completely written off so you
won’t have to pay back your fees! This does not relate to a
similar foundation year course at university.
*A student who takes out an Advanced Learner Loan for their Access to HE course will study for free, if they go on to complete their higher education studies, as the government will write off their loan. This is not extended to other qualifications.
Pay nothing up front. Advanced Learner Loans are available for those aged 19 or above to undertake Level 3 to Level 6 qualifications. They provide financial support for tuition fees and are paid directly to the college on your behalf.
It's easy to apply, your household income isn't taken into account and there's no credit check. You won't have to pay anything back until you are earning over £25,725 a year.
If you are aged 19 to 23 and have not already achieved a full Level 3 qualification, you may be entitled to full funding for a Level 3 course.
If you take out an Advanced learner Loan for an Access to HE course, you will study for free if you progress to a higher education qualification, as the government will write off the loan when you graduate.
