The courses is designed for anyone who is interested in a career in the hospitality and catering industry and may be unsure of the particular area they wish to pursue.
You will prepare and cook food within the production, training and pastry kitchens. THis course is ideal if you currently work in or want to work in the food and beverage, food preparation, or cooking areas of the hospitality industry. You will also take part in coffee and lunch services, as well as special events and competitions.

Your progress will be assessed by a range of methods including practical assessments/observations and written assignments.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
