What’s it all about?

This training course is the initial Chainsaw course and will cover modules required for the safe operation of a chainsaw on the ground, including working safely, maintenance of the chainsaw and cutting system, operational chainsaw checks, legislation and industry good practice and cross-cutting timber with a chainsaw.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment leading to certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.

This is a short course - 2-days training with a half day assessment.

This course will take place between 9am-5pm. Days are dependent on booking availability.

This course will provide you with the appropriate techniques and safety guidelines to ensure that you are not only comfortable maintaining your chainsaw and practicing crosscutting but also be aware of relevant health and safety guidelines.

What’s next?
