This training and assessment program supports the information and knowledge required to achieve the L2 Award in the Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides (PA1). The modules delivered place a strong emphasis on the safe use of pesticides, environmental factors, and legislation.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment leading to certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.

This course will take place between 9am-5pm. Days dependent on booking availability.
This course will provide you with the appropriate Legislation knowledge, Personal Safety, Contamination, Pesticide and container storage, Disposal, Record keeping and Environmental factors to ensure that you are not only comfortable but also be aware of relevant health and safety guidelines.

On completion of this course, you could progress to our follow-up pesticide related courses, such ad PA2 and PA6.
