There are no specific entry requirements for this course. The qualification is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities, especially those who require additional support and coaching with their studies.

The course is taught via classroom based delivery and is assessed using coursework in a portfolio of evidence.
Feedback on student work is given throughout the year.
Students that do not hold a grade 4 or above in Math's and English will be expected to study these subjects alongside their vocational studies.
Whilst a placement is not required for this course, we encourage students to work with our Skills Coaches to source and attend a suitable work placement.
This course is ideally suited for individuals that are looking to explore careers in business, ICT and creative media. Students will gain skills and knowledge in these vocational sectors and will be supported in their studies.

Following the completion of this course, students can progress onto the BTEC Level 2 in Information and Creative Technology course.
