Northumberland College recently received the runner-up prize in The Sir John Pirie Cup at the 21st annual Plaisterers’ Training Awards 2019 in London.
The category recognised small colleges with the highest conversion student rate at NVQ, SVQ, ICA and Diploma Level 2.
The awards were held at London’s Plaisterers’ Hall on 25th November 2019 to recognise the highest standards in training and education within the UK drylining and plastering trade.
The college was presented the runner-up prize of a cheque for £250 by Alderman William Russell, The Rt Hon Lord Mayor of London.
The college’s award was accepted by Michael Anderson, Plastering Lecturer, who said: “What a wonderful dinner and experience. I’m so proud to have been able to accept the award.”
