16-18 Free You will need to provide your own stationery, including a lever arch file and dividers. You will be given the opportunity to take part in trips and visits.

All units will be internally assessed and externally quality assuread. A range of methods of assessment will include written work, designing a leaflet or booklet, group discussions and skills demonstrations.

Achieving a Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English is important, but if you're not there yet, don’t worry! We provide supportive classes to help you meet these essential criteria. These subjects form the backbone of your educational toolkit, opening doors to further studies and exciting apprenticeships. Our sessions in Maths and English will equip you with the skills needed to thrive academically and professionally.

The qualification is aimed at those who wish to develop an understanding of both health and social care and childcare settings before deciding whether working in the sector is for you.

You will;
- Gain the knowledge, understanding and skills required for employment and/or career progression in the sectors
- Tailor their learning to their interests through the provision of a broad range of optional units
- Develop transferable skills

The qualification supports progression to Level 2 qualifications in health, social care or children's settings and provides you with the opportunity to progress to employment, in due course to a range of job roles in the care sectors.

What’s next?

Upon completing this foundational program, students can pursue Level 2 qualifications in T Level Foundation: Health & Science Route or T Level Foundation: Education & Early Years Route, expanding their expertise and enhancing employability in sectors dedicated to making a real difference.
