This course is designed to introduce the more traditional woodworking crafts and Skills using environmentally friendly materials, resources and techniques.
The courses are designed to provide a fun and productive environment to help support your wellbeing and provide you with new, valuable and interesting skills.
The intention is to support you in making a range of products that use foraged timber and recycled materials to produce functional and decorative items ranging from bird baths to sundials and weather vanes.

You will be taught using hands-on practical methods in our specialist workshop, looking at subjects such as hand tools, wood carving and woodturning.
The course will be delivered across single sessions of 7 hours per week on Saturdays.
The intention is to run a number of 1-day modules that are designed to be taken as single or multiple days to allow attendance and development opportunities to suite individuals.

At the end of the course you will have a craft woodwork item to take home and can include a range of items such as:
- Bespoke flower planters
- Bird baths
- Bird feeders
- Bird boxes
- Sundials
- Weather vanes
The options are only restricted by your imagination and if you can design it, you can build it!
