Get your career on the road! There are lots of exciting changes happening in the automotive industry with new technological advancements.
Our selection of Motor Vehicle vocational courses are made to ensure that you are ready for a career in motor vehicles, with expert level support and state-of-the-art facilities at our Ashington and Berwick campuses to ensure that you have the best possible learning experience, and that you are career ready.
You will need to have a real interest in the industry and be knowledgeable about its technology. You will also need to have excellent maths and IT skills, good communication skills, the ability to problem solve with an attention to detail.
You'll study this subject full-time at either our Ashington or Berwick campuses. You will have access to a Motor vehicle workshop with seven ramp systems, specialist diagnostic equipment for both light and heavy vehicles, Workshop with six vehicles, four post and two post 5 vehicle lift, air compressor and tyre fitting equipment (Berwick).
We work with the following employers to help you get career ready and gain real work skills: North East Ambulance Fleet Management Services, Nissan, Hitachi Rail, Semples of Berwick.

State-of-the-art workshop with lifting equipment, a tyre changing area, MOT test bay, snap-on lifts, the latest model Nissan cars and an engine overhaul bay.
Industry-standard spray booths including computer controlled drying speeds for both water and solvent paints.
