Ever wondered why some plants thrive and some fail to grow? This course identifies and discusses the key factors in selecting plants.
It will give you the opportunity to practice some key techniques for planting and improving plant establishment in your garden.
All you need to enrol on this course is a keen interest in gardening and the desire to learn more about planting and plant selection!

There is no formal assessment for this course. The course is a mix of classroom theory and practical elements.
The course consists of 1 session, which will be delivered over 2 hours.
This course aims to equip you with the knowledge of environmental factors and plant factors affecting plant selection.
It also aims to give you the opportunity to practice some key techniques taught by experienced gardeners to ensure a better prognosis for your newly planted perennials and bedding.
