Ever thought about growing your own plants? Have you struggled to grow plants from seeds or would like to know more about taking cuttings? This course will cover all the basic principles and practices needed to get you started successfully growing plants in your garden from seeds and cuttings.

There is no formal assessment for this course. The course is a mix of classroom theory and practical elements.
The course consists of 1 session, which is delivered over 2 hours.
This course aims to introduce a range of propagation activities and discuss the seasonality, timings and environment needed.
Students will familiarise themselves with a range of tools and equipment and involved in propagation.
You may wish to enrol on our other Gardening Expert courses in horticulture, such as Lawn Care and Maintenance, or Plant Selection and Planting.
We also offer technical horticulture courses suitable for adults at Level 2 and Level 3.
