This qualification will enable you to prove your expertise in using a pole pruner.
It will also provide firm evidence of your ability to meet licence-to-practise standards.
Quality Assurance policies are in place to ensure that all assessments meet the independent assessment requirements for this sector.
You could be starting a new role, or you might already be using your chainsaw skills across a range of relevant operations.
You will need to be at least 16 years of age, and already hold the Lantra Powered Pole Pruner qualification.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment. Certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.
This is a short course - 1 day of training with integrated assessment.
This course will take place between 9am-5pm. Days are dependent on booking availability.
This qualification will refresh your knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Being able to work safely
- Being able to use a powered pole pruner
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice
- Knowledge of how to use a powered pole pruner
