You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical methods. Assessment is integrated into the course.
This is a short course – 1-day of training with integrated assessment.
City and Guilds
This course will take place between 9am-5pm. Days are dependent on booking availability.
On this 1 day, hands-on course, you will learn how to operate a woodchipper safely and confidently.
Taught using a mix of theory and practical methods, you will learn all the key health and safety issues, as well as learning to use the machine. This includes chipping and removing blockages.
This is an Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA) course and you will receive a certificate of training on successful completion of this course.
City and Guilds
Following this course, you will be able to safely operate a manually fed wood-chipper as part of your work in the agriculture or aboriculture sector.
