You will learn how to describe the legal requirements relating to applying pesticides to or near water using hand held pedestrian equipment. You'll also be taught how to safely apply pesticides to or near water using hand-held pedestrian equipment following industry best practice.
You should have a PA1 qualification prior to attending this course.

You will be taught using a mix of theory and practical and assessment leading to certification should take place as soon as possible following the successful completion of the training course.
City and Guilds
This is a short course consisting of 1 day of training and a half a day of assessment. Teaching will take place between 9am-5pm. Days dependent on booking availability.
On completion of this course, your will have the skills and knowledge to safely carry out professional tasks involving the use of pesticides near water. This could help you enhance you career in the horticulture and land-based industries.
