You will ideally have GCSE English (Language or Literature) or GCSE Maths at grade 4 (grade C) or equivalent; however, if these entry requirements are not met, your application may still be considered on a case-by-case basis by the course leader. Northumbria University has confirmed that, when applying via UCAS, Access to HE credits in English and Maths are currently accepted as an alternative. This includes either 3 credits at Level 3 (pass grade) or 6 credits at Level 2, both of which are included within this course.

Over a course of units progress will be assessed using a range of methods including: assignments, research projects, practical assessments and reports.

English and Maths are important for your studies and progress to your chosen career. Ideally, you will have already achieved Maths and English grade 4 / C on entry to this programme, if not, or you wish to update your skills, we can support with this.
Thursday- Day 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Tuesday - Evening 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We run the course over two days, usually class based but with some blended online delivery. The course will be delivered over two days, one day session and one evening session per week, attendance at each session is required to ensure you meet the requirements of the course.
