Our selection of vocational courses in Public & Uniformed Services will help give you the skills and knowledge required to excel in the field. With facilities available at our Kirkley Hall Campus, expert level support from our staff, and industry links with employers such as Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, you'll be fully equipped for a career in public service.
Dedication, discipline, teamwork and communication are essential for working in the public services sector. In addition to being physically fit, you will also need to remain calm in challenging situations, be quick to react and lead and motivate others.
You'll study this subject full time at our Kirkley Hall campus and will have access to an assault course, climbing tower and military camp in our vast woodland. Free college transport to and from the Kirkley Hall campus is also available.
We work with the following employers to help you gain real work skills: Northumberland Fusiliers, RNLI, Northumbria Police, Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service.
