Our selection of automotive engineering vocational courses are made to ensure that you are ready for a career in motor vehicles, with expert level support and state-of-the-art facilities at our Ashington and Berwick campuses to ensure that you have the best possible learning experience, and that you are career ready.
You will need to have a real interest in the industry and be knowledgeable about its technology. You will also need to have excellent maths and IT skills, good communication skills, the ability to problem solve with an attention to detail.
You'll study this subject full-time at either our Ashington or Berwick campuses. You will have access to a automotive engineering workshop with ramp systems, vehicle lifts, an air compressor, tyre fitting equipment and specialist diagnostic equipment for both light and heavy vehicles.
We work with the following employers to help you get career ready and gain real work skills: North East Ambulance Fleet Management Services, Nissan, Hitachi Rail, Semples of Berwick.
