Top chef James Sullivan has been giving Northumberland College catering students an insight into preparing dishes at a special masterclass.
James, who works at the Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, shared his knowledge and tips with the students as they prepared his bespoke menu which was served during an evening service at the Gallery Restaurant.
Impressed with their commitment and talent, James has also offered the students work experience opportunities in the future.
Chef Lecturer, Jonathon McManus, said:
“James’ masterclass was fantastic. Our young chefs were inspired by a professional from the local area whose hard work and dedication has seen him build a successful career in the hospitality industry and work in some of the country’s leading restaurants.
“He shared very current industry trends and standards while showing them anything is possible.”
