You will need to have a real interest in the industry and be knowledgeable about its technology. You will also need to have excellent maths and IT skills, good communication skills, the ability to problem solve with an attention to detail.
You'll study this subject full-time at AshingtonCampus & Berwick. You will have access to a Motor vehicle workshop with seven ramp systems, specialist diagnostic equipment for both light and heavy vehicles, Workshop with six vehicles, four post and two post 5 vehicle lift, air compressor and tyre fitting equipment (Berwick).
