You could travel the world and career possibilities are endless! Create a positive impact on people of all ages and backgrounds, take them on life-changing experiences and help them to challenge themselves, learn a new skill and fulfil their goals. Every day is a new adventure!
You will need to be adventurous, confident and an excellent communicator with bags of patience! Leadership and working well in a team is also essential, as is being able to use your initiative, motivate and inspire others to achieve their potential and remain calm in challenging situations.
You will develop teamwork skills and leadership skills, which are valued by employers and universities. You will also develop your skills in climbing, hiking and navigation. You will have the opportunity to take part in residential trips and expeditions throughout the year which include visits to the Scottish Highlands, Snowdonia, the Lake District and expeditions abroad.
We have some of the best facilities for outdoor adventure students including:
Kirkley Hall Activity Centre with indoor climbing wall and sports centre, 12m climbing and abseil tower and 120m zip wire.
Kirkley Hall has easy access to woodland and the Northumberland countryside with its climbing crags and rivers along with vast walking areas.
